By submitting an enquiry and/or placing an order to Cheshire Diamonds, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy, which will apply to any purchase you make from Cheshire Diamonds on this website.

We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Such changes will take effect from the moment they are posted on this website and it is your responsibility to read them on each occasion that you use this website.

Intellectual Property / Use of Website

You agree and acknowledge that all copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in all materials and/or content on this website shall remain at all times vested in Cheshire Diamonds. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorized by Cheshire Diamonds. The content of this website, including without limitation any text, audio, video, and graphics, may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, distributed, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written consent of Cheshire Diamonds. You are permitted to copy, transmit and to use content/material on this website only for ordering products from this website.

Cheshire Diamonds shall have no liability for any loss (direct or indirect) arising from the use of or the inability to use this website, including (without limitation) reliance on any information/content of this website or which results from mistakes, interruptions, omissions, deletions of files, deletion of emails, defects/viruses/bugs or delays in operation.

The information/content displayed on this website may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors, and may be changed or updated at any time without notice. If any item is inaccurately priced due to a typographical or technical error on our part, you will be notified of the error and your money will be refunded to you. You will then have the option to purchase the item at the correct price. We are not legally required to sell an item at an inaccurate price. Cheshire Diamonds may make improvements and/or changes to this website at any time without notice.

All information received from you will be dealt with in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

Cheshire Diamonds shall have no liability to the customer for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for replacement or compensation arising from any information supplied by you which is inaccurate, incomplete, illegible, out of sequence or in the wrong form, or any other fault of the customer.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to Cheshire Diamonds, and we respect your concerns.

As a general rule we don’t automatically collect any of your personal information (i.e. name, address, telephone number, e-mail address).

However, there are circumstances in which you may volunteer this information, and in this event, the details are kept secure and confidential. The information will only be used for purposes made known to you at the time the information is collected, or for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy.

We do collect certain non-personal information about users through the standard operation of the Cheshire Diamonds Internet Servers—for example, the type of internet browser being used, its operating system and the domain names (not email addresses where possible) of the users.

Cheshire Diamonds are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites which have links on our pages.

Refunds & Returns

All items are entitled to our 14 day money-back guarantee. You may return an item to us within 14 days from receipt of your item, for a refund or exchange.
Returns: When returning an item to us it needs to be in its original, unused, unworn condition accompanied by all certification documents (valuation and diamond report if applicable) and its box or packaging. Items damaged due to client negligence will not be accepted for a refund. Once an item has been received and checked over we will process your refund immediately, however the payment may take a several days to return to your account. Please use this form when sending your order back for a refund/exchange. The form also contains an FAQs section with further information regarding Returns.
Due to hygiene purposes, we do not accept returns on Earring purchases.
Resizing: We will gladly re-size any item at any time after your purchase, for a small charge to cover costs. Please use this form when sending back your ring for resizing. The form explains how to send your ring back to us, the cost of resizing and other useful information. Generally resizing takes 5-7 working days, however some items can only be made within specific size ranges, and others can be specially made but this will take longer to return to you.  Items that have been received and then sent back to be re-sized, will not be accepted for a refund.
All items must be returned via Royal Mail Special Delivery which ensures there is proof of delivery. Please insure the item for a maximum value, which currently is £2,500. DO NOT write Cheshire Diamonds on a package when returning it to us. Instead, please write Peter Clayton. This will help to prevent the possibility of theft in transit.
If you return an item for a refund/exchange/resize, we don’t cover the postage cost to send it back to us.  This must be paid by yourself as we don’t offer a ‘free returns’ service.
If the item you received was a special order for a non-standard ring size (outside of our offered range on each product), or if you ordered a ‘bespoke’ item (this is an item we have made and designed just for you that was not available on our website) you will only be able to return it to us if it is faulty, as it will have been specially made and cannot be resold. Our standard sizes for a product are the available sizes on our website.  Your ring is only a ‘special size’ if you have arranged this with us, and if the size is not generally available for that product.  Our standard sizes DO also include half sizes.

Delivery Policy

While every attempt is made to deliver goods within the estimated time of 5-7 days of in stock item, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors.

For Bespoke/custom made products, there is a 6 week lead time.

Cheshire Diamonds do not warrant or guarantee the specified delivery date, and shall have no liability to you for any loss, damage, expenses, or other claims that you may incur because of late delivery.

Once you have received your purchase, you become the owner of those items and they will be held at your own risk. We are not liable for their loss or destruction once they have been received by you.
